Abstarct: Safety is one of the most important parameters to consider when choosing a road. Air pollution is also one of the important issues of the country, most of which is caused by vehicle fuel consumption. By considering methods to reduce fuel consumption, the increase in air pollution can be prevented, and by knowing the influencing factors such as the percentage of slope and the length of uphill roads, it can create significant effects in the field of economic costs. In this regard, if we look at the geometric design of the road as a solution for the above problem, its parameters can play a significant role in reducing fuel consumption and be effective in choosing the best route among the available options. In this research, a model tixtled the effect of slopes and uphills on the fuel consumption is investigated according to the two important concepts of dependence of the fuel consumption on the parameters of the geometric design of the road, such as the percentage of slopes, etc. Takes. In order to obtain the data considered in this research, the speed of passing through the desired route is taken in the field using a software program. And by following the regulations and using the relevant software, the amount of fuel consumption during the movement of cars is obtained.
